And lo, Christmas came early that year when Adam stopped being difficult for like two fucking seconds, and let his friends give him things. Which they did on the spot, literally off their backs. 

Gansey was so excited he couldn’t sleep for days. More than usual, that is.

(Blue later found out the miracle of Adam-Accepting-Gifts-mas only happened cause Adam’s judgement was severely impaired by cold medication. And by the time it wore off it was too late to say no. She decided to keep this to herself, cause frankly Gansey can’t be trusted with the knowledge of how to make Adam agreeable.)

in which i pretend that nothing bad is going to happen during wintertime at all, other than that gansey and blue get left on the side of the road after the pig broke down because adam and ronan set them up on a date forgot to pick them up. the end.
